Garden Update!

I put supports in my garden today for the tomatoes and zucchini.  I still have to buy supports for the cucumber and peppers.

Here is my rosemary.

Keep Bugs Away From Seedlings

Use a coffee sleeve around a seedling to keep the bugs away from delicate stems.

More Plants In The Garden!

We checked the weather for the next 10 days and it looks like it will be beautiful.  I was so excited to plant more plants in my garden. We went to Lowes and picked out three tomato plants, two pepper plants and some marigolds to keep the bad bugs away.  We will still need to cover the garden bed if there is a frost, but I am so excited to be starting my full garden. 

We planted Cubanelle and Red Bell Sweet Peppers.  For tomatoes, we planted Husky Cherry Red, Beefsteak and some sort of purple tomato.  

Garden Progress

I am going to put a picture of my garden up here each week to keep track of the progress.  So far, it's looking good.  I am growing Brussels sprouts, onions and lettuce.

I am not sure what this plant is.  Does anyone know?

My New Box Garden!

My husband made my new box garden and I couldn't be happier!  I can see it from most windows on the back of my house.

I planted 3 different plants:  onions, baby broccoli and buttercrunch Bibb lettuce.  This will be my Spring garden.

I was worried that they would die during the overnight frosts, but they are holding their ground.
